• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Forrest, on Friday I'm going to ease up to Corbin for a minute first and let them take a look at my backrest. That means I'll probably leave Sanford around 7:00ish and get up there around 8:30ish. I'll meet you guys in Daytona that morning.

As for Saturday that sounds good. I'll get with ya Friday and coordinate just where I'll be to meet ya'll.

Thanks.

Chris

Lamont helped fix the backrest on my Spyder today, (Thursday) so I won't have to leave early FRIDAY, and head up to Corbin. I'll be just beyond the "entry ramp" at I-4 & 46 in Sanford.

Forrest, I think ya'll will be coming through there sometime around 10:00ish or 10:15ish. Don't break your neck. I'll be waiting regardless.

See ya'll there.

Chris

If we, that are meeting at exit 58 ( champions gate's BP ) at 9:30 am, Sat 14th .. and want to go to breakfast at Crabby Joes ( 9:00am ) we will have to change our time to not later than 7:00am to get there for breakfast,

Forrest, I was thinking about the route you were mentioning to get to Crabby Joe's from where we are. Another option is to take I-4 up to SR 44 (Deland) and turn right. (heading east). Go down SR 44 till you get to the Volusia County Speedway on the left and take a left (not sure of the Road Name) at that intersection. Follow that road on up past where they have the mud wrestling to the next stop light and take a right. (again not sure what the name of that road is). That road though will take you all the way over to the beach side of Daytona. Turn right on A1A and Crabby Joe's is just a short piece down the road on the left.

Forrest or anybody that would like to go there for breakfest, these are the roads you need to look for from I-4 and SR 44E: take 44E 6.5 miles look for CR 4118 turn left follow this RD until you get to the stop sign (about 4 miles) that is CR 415 turn left, go to the first stop light that will be taylor Rd turn right, (this is also CR 421). After you go under I-95 the Road name changes to Dunlawton Av. Stay on this until you get to the Ocean (that will be S Atlantic Av ) turn right Crabby joes will be on your left about .4 of a mile, you will see the sign. If parking lot is full you can park straight across the street . Hope this helps everyone. This is where our sunrise to sunset ride started.

Had a great time today over in Daytona at Biketoberfest. Met a lot of nice "new spyder riders". Michael from Dothan, Alabamer (said like Teddy Kennedy) went to lunch with Forrest, Annelielani, her nice husband, Ron, and myself. We ate at the Deck Down Under and had some really great seafood.

Others that I met were Lou, Capt.Jim (note the . in between), I think it was also Beth, and many others that I just can't remember their names. It was nice talking to all of them. The weather was chamber of commerce gorgeous.

I'm looking forward to going over tomorrow with my wife, Cindy, and seeing a lot of these folks again. I'm going to have to cancel on the breakfast at Crabby Joe's in the morning though. Forrest, this last message is for you. Cindy and I will probably leave a bit earlier than when ya'll will be coming by so don't look for us. We'll see ya'll over at the BRP site though.

Bottom line is that I had a great time today with everyone.

Chris

That was a nice report, Chris. Yes, it was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Met Barb and Jerry from Titusville, and our lunch buddy, Michael from Alabama. I'll stop by tomorrow after meeting some new friends at Crabby Joes.

Hi John - or should I say "Good Morning". Just got your message from last night - sorry I can't always hear my cell phone. We are leaving around 8:15-8:30 because we are having breakfast at our church (this is not a normal deal - so we wanted to help them out). I've already contacted Laura (she is the one that facebooked me about the breakfast at Crabby Joes). We will be there before 9:30 to meet everyone and go on the ride. So, we will see you over there. Ron and Shar are riding with us.

Hi John and Carol - sorry we ran so late on our run, the I went to Corbin to "bitch" about my seat. We (Ron, Shar and I) didn't eat until after 2:00. I would have liked to visit with you and our Spyder friends, but we ran out of time. Came back to Lake County to listen to the Cruiser Band (we belong to the Central Florida Cruisers and that is our band). It was awesome. Didn't get home until almost 7:00 - past my bedtime!!!! Good to see you today and meet new friends. Laura is an awesome lady and we really need to invite her on the rides.
