• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else hunted off your spyder?

I got a grouse off it with youth model 870 20 gauge (save the girl gun stuff, I have the balance of a toddler so the lighter and smaller of the gun the better) with specter ar-15 collapsible stock 3 point sling, Seth mod'ed of course. I put the stock exhaust back on and its quieter than my 4 wheeler at slow speeds and works great if you have someone like my brothers road hunting behind me batting clean up.

You can take the spyder a few more places than a car you don't care about too much and can be driven some places a 4 wheeler can't legally. Got some of the best looks to date, full on clown suit with blinking lights on it...

That awesome! for me I wouldnt say I was hunting, but ive taken a grouse while on the Spyder few years back. I have a very long dirt driveway in the woods great spot for birds, I try to rem to throw my 410 in my pocket just for that reason.
Makes me smile, I was just checking the boards as I pack for deer season. debating on weather to bring the Spyder from the west side of the state (where i am now) to the east side where my land is and risk the snow..which isnt here yet. but come late oct when ill head back its a crapshoot..I will prob take the bike, not like it hasnt seen its fair share rough pass crossings.
Good luck to ya on the upcoming season..My favorite time year,
Troy

Here in New York; Hunting from a motor or motorized vehicle is a big "No-No":lecturef_smilie: and they confiscate the behicle just to rub it in! :yikes:

In MN and in most states in you are disabled you can hunt from "moving" vehicle. I would check it out if are hurt or something.

I understand that you are not on the states in this but it doesn't make any sense they way MN has gone about deer hunting, 4 years ago you could shoot over 4 deer in certain areas I was in and now you can only shoot one even though there are more car deer accidents and less hunters every year.

Seth,
I completely forgot your situation... Sorry 'bout that...:opps:
I'm not sure of the legislation regarding usage of motor vehicles by hunters who require a bit of assistance getting around, but I'd be willing to bet that it can be done...
Great pic Doc!
(Who brought the beer?? :roflblack:)
