• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SE5 Delivery

On second thought Derwin..... are you the: MOLE

Nope. I'm not the mole. But I do have a small mole! Does that count? ;D

I have it from a very, VERY good source that the SE5's will be delivered on time, and actually before most of us expect them.

I love you man !!!! :doorag:

Sometimes the wait is alot less painful when I hear someone, say or hear that they're coming sooner rather than later. I'll sleep good tonight.

They will be 2008 models. And I have been told the same thing by someone that works at BRP that they are on schedule. At this point they are on a 3 week turn for the SM5!!!

Awaiting my SE5

Hey all, I placed my order in June 14, 2008. The dealer was sure about letting me know that it could be as late as 1 November. Patiently waiting. By the time I get it, the bike will be paid for. :)
:2thumbs:

You did mean August of 2007???

Hello,

I purchased my SE5 on August 31, 2007 and was told delivery was March 31, 2008. Then the update came and pushed it to Sept 2008. Just received call from dealer and they were notified by BRP to advise all clients that delivery is now November 30, 2008.

Anyone hear anything different??

Boss1man,

I feel for you man:(. Has it really been over a year since you placed the order:yikes:? Is that the record? I'm counting on six months wait-time. I plan to order in March for Sept. delivery:pray:. Surely by next year they will be more on-task with deliveries:pray: and cut the price in half:rolleyes:. I can wait the six months, but I think after that, I would have to request my refund and travel to the nearest large metropolitan area and buy off the showroom.

Well, hang in there.:banghead: :chill: :) Better days are a-comin'.

Yes Sir!!!

That's what I'm talking about. I will enjoy :spyder: all the more, knowing that she is completely paid in full (I guess I have to strike completely, since I have a few mods that are must have. I will probably finance the mods just to get them all at once. Good Luck with delivery date.

I think you got things a little mixed-up. No dates have "officially" changed. Those that were expecting their SE5 by September 30, are still going to get them by then. The SE5's are not even in production yet, according to the Spyder Team. So those that pre-ordered them, truly pre-ordered a product that has not even been made yet.

The only reason I assumed you ordered the SE5, is because this thread is about the SE5 delivery, not the SM.

Au Contraire, mon amie,

I witnessed the un-crating of a beautiful Red SE5 two weeks ago. The dealer gave me a full orientation. No ryde though:cus:!!! It would not be ready before I had to go to work. By the time I made it back the next Friday, :spyder: was gone.:(:dontknow::congrats: to whoever got it in Pensacola. Hope to see you on the road.

My Bad Derwin, I didn't notice the date of you post until I posted this reply.
