• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gremlin bell

We have three protective devices against Gremlins....

1. Protects from winged Gremlins
2. Protects from Ground-based Gremlins
3. Protects against difficult Gremlins

I'd be a bit nervous about heat cooking the oil of that sidearm...
Does the bell hooked to your fender get caught up by the tire?

The compass works well. I wanted to just get a compass but I couldn't find one small enough to fit where I wanted to mount it. The temp gauge is better than the one on the bike but it still isn't very accurate.

:2thumbs: So where are you going to hang it? Have you got any riding buddies who need one? Now's the time to spread the good luck...

Gremlin Bell

Well, the bell is hanging from the license plate. I couldn't see anywhere else I wanted to put it. But then again, I didn't crawl on my hands and knees to look to far underneath. But, at least its on the bike. Gremlins.............BE GONE!!!:lecturef_smilie:

Uh oh, would it count if I bought one for Teddy?

See'n as we're still kinda new to the "biker" world, we have yet to make any local biker friends that are aware of such traditions, so Teddy still doesn't have a "Gremlin/Guardian Bell" for his RT-S. And to think, we're on his second SpYder and second year of Ryding. Maybe this was our issue with his first SpYder? Think it would count the same if I bought one for him? Lord knows, after our last adventure home from SITA, superstition or not, we can use all the continuing good luck we can get.

Here's mine:
