• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamont asked me to post this for him since he is in the air, and on his way to Montreal to see the real 2012 Spyders in person.

Don't you wish you were Lamont! :gaah: Me too!

So here is the link to the 2012 Spyder line up. Enjoy! I'm sure Lamont will add to this when he can.

Both links are the same but if one doesn't work the other should.

wow..just wanted to be first...:roflblack: now i can go look. Not much of diference in the RT...RS at least has new suspension.

Would like to see the new LCD....Not surprised at the lack of change on a 3rd year model. More time for people to learn how to fix them. Thanks ron

New 2012

Well, I am glad there are not many changes since I just bought mine a few weeks ago.

Surprised they did not do too many updates other than the display and adding heat shield to exhaust and color addition.

Liking the new colors, now I wish I would have waited until next year... Guess I will just have to buy me another one and let the wife inherit this one... LOL, she just told me I could buy a second one... She went and got her M endorsement so she could drive it after riding as a passenger 2 times. She loves it and finds every excuse to ride it when I am not. So we will be a two Spyder family next year! LOOKING FORWARD TO IT! :spyder2:

RS: interesting "New gas-charged FOX Racing Shox front suspension with threaded pre-load adjustment"...;)

Fewer upgrades and changes makes it easier to not run right out and order a new one..... I think I am glad for that...

:2thumbs: Thanks for the sneek preview Lamont .

Man after the great color combos for 2011, I've got to say that lava brown one with the tan seat (2012 Limited ) for sure doesn't do it for me .I also thought they would have chromed the whole bike out .:dontknow:

Nothing too shocking--- knew they would eventually upgrade the display-- and the shocks are a nice option.... appears they do pay attention out here..... :D

Really like the green combo...

Thanks for posting the pictures of the new 2012's. Based on what I see and read--I will not be running out to purchase Spyder #4 this time around either.

I am disappointed that with 4 years experience with the Spyder--they are not offering a bigger power plant or adjustable driver floorboards as an option.

Sorry: but I do not like the Magnesium or the Brown/Tan colors on the the new RT's either. They may look better in person--but I am not impressed with the colors from the photos.

I do like the new green color on the RS, and the RSS red/black combo isnt bad either.

I like :spyder2:'s --so don't get me wrong--but--I am thinking that after 4 years--they might have been a little more innovative with some things.

Love the red one.... Love the green one.

Not as much refinements as I had hoped for. Kinda anti-climatic if you ask me. Would love to see the new display though.

Guess I keep my GS another year +.
