There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, I got clobbered by rain and lightening today.As a result I only made 125mi today.
I quit early (3:00pm) and am drying out I Thayer, MO on the Arkansas line. I hope tomorrow goes better.

Well, today went much better. I am outside of Nashville planning my approach for Maggie Valley. It looks if I play my cards right, I can come in via the Cherohala Skyway.:yes:
I actually stayed in Arkansas last night at Mammoth Springs. Actually found a cheap motel. I came in through Paducah, KY noting that the bridge across the Mississippi to KY was out as was the bridge to IL. I-57 is the only way across the river(s) in the Cairo, IL area. Rain wasn't too bad today. I got into steady ran for several hours but it evaporated off my wet trousers as fast as it accumulated. Supposed to be Thunderstorms tonight, so the little cutie at the desk tells me.
