• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone installed a light bar on the back box? If so, what product would you recommend and does it tie into the stop light and turn signals?

Yes many of of have for the RT's and ESI has a great kit just a lot different for the RS models... I have had the ESI version that is like a factory looking unit, and just did the TricLed units this last week Both have nothing bu pros, no cons...

My link for TricLed's (Link)

I did both also. TricLED for both running lights and brakes. The ESI is only a brake light.

Put the ESI trunk version on yesterday. Works with both lights and brakes. Fantastic addition that should be standard OEM.

ESI High Mount Brake light , The LED lights are bright easy to install, looks factorty and is a top quality product. My wife was following me at dusk in her car and said that the lights provide good visibiliy. Ihave them hooked up to be both running and brake lights.:2thumbs:

One concern about the HMT. Is it adjustable? I understand wanting to be seen, that is why I am looking at these very seriously. BUT...are these over the top? In flashing the light, will I be blinding someone? Guess best to wait for MV and see some live.

Not sure if this will help you or not... But no... This one is not adjustable from ESI in it's ESI form...

That said... The angle of the photos show the ESI straight on and the factory lights at an angle... Had the photo been farther back so you can see both at a similar angle at the same time you would see the ESI is very similar to the brightness of the Factory LED lights. They definitely compliment each other.

This also proves why we felt (Wife and I) it is a necessary add on. The taller vehicles that get behind us in traffic do not see the factory lights in all their glory as they will the ESI unit. Now cars, no big deal...

For comparison... I would say the TricLed version is about 10-15% softer or not as bright as the factory Led's and the ESI unit is...
