Indeed, it was a absolutely spectacular day. Not a cloud in the sky, 80+.....a far cry from all the rain we've been getting lately. The pictures pretty much say it all.....and we won't get into what those ladybugs were up to on the railing where we took the group picture! :yikes: Regarding the footage of that handsome face.....I HAD to document it - - nobody would have believed it if I hadn't!! hyea:hyea: Total mileage for us worked out to be exactly 240.0 per :spyder2:.

It was an awesome day. :2thumbs::2thumbs:
Great friends and a great ryde. :chat:
We added 204 miles to the Spyder today.
The weather was wonderful and so was the food. hyea:hyea:

I wish I could say the same about our :spyder:.
Thank you Scott for stopping and helping us at Mcdonalds.

It is going to the shop this week hopefully. :gaah:

The Sheriff and Hwy 30

I got to meet the Sheriff's deputy that patrols Hwy 30. He was nice but it was kind of funny.
He comes up to me and says, I stopped you for speeding, that when I passed the other Spyder I was doing 63 in a 55. I told him that I was the one who got passed on the right by another Spyder. The deputy got this smirk on his face and " Doggone you're right, that girl did pass you on the right and that's who I clocked."

The deputy then said "Well I bet you were a mile or two over the limit also." I said that may be possible.

His response was "I won't give you a ticket if you give me some honest answers about the bike."

Seems he has been riding 2 wheels but getting to mid-50s, he is feeling a little unsafe and has been looking at the Spyder. We chatted for about 10 minutes and said our have a good day and "slow down."

Hey, Guys! What's going on with your :spyder2:??? Is everything ok?

the :spyder: decided to have a mind of it own and wander badly, scared the **** out of us and was very frustrating trying to keep it in our own lane. Scott stopped and talked to us about what the cause might be. We took it really easy coming home. It took us 3 hours from Astoria. I am calling Brent at sk tuesday and see when we can get it in and get the aliment looked into, tow in-tow out stuff and what is causing the vibrations.

I was able to up load a few pics from today but not able to upload anymore tonight will try again tomorrow.

Hey guys, what a bummer that your:spyder2:got a case of the shakes. Hope it's nothing serious. I was that "girl" that passed Scotty on the right (he was in the left lane). Wanted to let him know I needed gas. Saw him being pulled over as I pulled into the Chevron Station. Couldn't figure out why, he wasn't speeding. Lost track of him after that. Fortunately, he's no rat and didn't drop a dime on me":bowdown::roflblack:. All in all, it really was a great day. Rode to Corvallis this am to have breakfast with some friends sooo another 100 miles today.
