Madstad vs Chad...

I just got back from a ride with my new Madstad windscreen in place.
First I went with the CHAD,same route,same speeds(105-140km) and no change in wind....
and the winner (for me) is----Madstad.:firstplace::thumbup:
A little more flapping in the arms than the CHAD but ZERO head bobble.That is something that I could not achieve with the CHAD.I'm 6 ft and don't sit too high in the saddle.
The Madstad is a bit of a PIA to adjust but worth it.And as far as "cool" goes,the CHAD is just plain ugly...once again the Madstad wins.:2thumbs:

Just installed the MadStad on the RSS. Agree that the adjustment is kind of a pain but is worth it. This shield ROCKS!!! works great & has the cool factor. I need to make 1 more minor adjustment for height. :2thumbs:

How long did it take for your windshield to come in? :dontknow: I ordered mine on May 4th. I'll probably call tomorrow to check status but I was just curious on what times you all have seen from order to arrival. [URL="http://planetsmilies.net"][/URL]

I've had mine on for a couple of weeks now, it took about 10 days to get it but it's worth the wait! I think you'll like it. hyea:

Took about a month...worth the wait.
(I'm having some poot problems and can't post pics,suffice to say, the "Cool" factor is there!!!):thumbup:

Pretty much no choice now that you can't buy a CHAD anyway....

If you round the corners of the CHAD it makes it look MUCH better - and as much as the CHAD is easier to adjust than the madstad--- it really isn't something you do very often after you get it dialed in.

I still like my "ugly" Chad and I get zero head bobble.

CHAD is lacking one of the ranges of motion as compared to the Madstad, this is why it is easier to move. If the Madstad only had the two movements, Mark could've left the same bracket on it. For the Spyder, he went with three movements vs. the two...allows for more options and individuality. I'm getting one...just not until the end of the season, likely...probably go with clear over the smoke...

That madstad sticker right in the front of the shield and plate peels off nicely too. Nothing against the company- just looks cleaner without it.

Eraser: You're 6 feet tall...what size did you get? I'm seriously thinking about ordering one, but I'm not sure which size to get. I'm 5'11", but I have the 4.5 risers on, and sit pretty straight up...I'm just wondering if I should go for the next size (22") up...:dontknow:

Roadster--I'm 6' and have 4 inch risers and went with the 22". It's made a huge difference and radically improved the ryde. The owner of Madstad (Mark) is easy to work with, so give him a call if you are not sure which size to order.
