• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:congrats: Let us know how the installation goes, and more importantly; what you think of the new seat... good luck!

That's pretty good time--I waited 4 weeks for the first one and about 3 weeks for the second. I moaned and groaned over it--but I got over it.

So you're saying that they are definitely worth the wait?
(I'm getting talked into a position where the Missus just ain't gonna be happy with me... :D)

Big time--Mr. D. I have 35,000 seat miles on two different Corbins and still like it. (125 more miles on our group ride last night). Corbin stuff looks good, is quality, but very expensive.

Also bought fleetliner trunk and special fairings for the 2008 and 2009. Waited a long time for those too. But--I am in AK. I compalained about the long wait--and Lamonster commented that they must have shipped via Ice Road Truckers.

Great customer service from Corbin seems to be the standard.

I installed my seat and trunk rest last Saturday morning. Pretty easy job. We then decided to work on the arm rests and could not get the tupperware to come off according to the instructions. :gaah: So, rather than mess up my new Limited I am going to have someone familiar with the installation install the arm rests.

I absolutely love the way the new seat feels.:ohyea: They may be expensive, but how important is your butt's comfort to you? To me the saddle was worth every cent.

Corbin It Will BE

Well, since couldn't get the gas door on a Russel...started researching the Corbin and see they also do the "ride-in" build...so I will be ryding to Spyders in the Redwood on a new Corbin with Lamont Cut AND GAS DOOR!!! They will take me in at 8 a.m. out the door by 3 p.m. and headed to Eureka...plus that should be a great ryde up the coast......you Corbin lovers any suggestions that I should tell the builders...thought about asking for a butt lift for me, but then decided that might take to long and I would miss ryding in the Redwoods :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Make sure you ask for the "Lamonster Cut" although I'm sure they will know what the "Lamont Cut" is. :D

They have a great breakfast there too. Say hi to Mike and the gang for me.

Wanted to let everyone know that the seat install went well. One thing I did learn and should have listened to Lamont from reading previous posts, is to remove the latch pin. When I first installed the seat I checked the lineup on the pin and it was close but not right on even with the latch boltss loose. Before I remembered to lift the seat and remove the pin, I sat on the seat to check the back rest position and well it latched. Now the fun part was getting the unlatched. After a few hey honey need some help to my wife and with her opertating the key I was able to lift and wiggle the seat to get it unlatched. Whoo!! I was really worried for about 5 minutes. So the moral of the story is to listen to what you read and remove the pin.

I left the arm rests for another day.

I will post some pictures tonight.
