I will be in Kansas City for a Harley Sportster Event :dooragmy earlier life) then headed to Maggie Valley and Lamonster's BBQ. I'll be leaving KC on the 12th and this will gived me several days to get to Maggie Valley with a leisurely jaunt thru TN and NC.:yes: I don't suppose there is anyone who would wish to accompany me.:dontknow:

there's quite a few hotels in the area: hampton inn, holiday inn, comfort suites, baymont, magnuson...

i called around some today & harrah's cherokee hotel & comfort inn had no rooms

im currently considering hampton inn

Just got an offer from a friend to use their place just 23 miles from Cherokee, no charge. Offered a list of local eating places and nice rides also. Now that is what you call "Friends" :2thumbs:. Now to convince my son to make the ride on the RS. :chat:
