• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I REALLY messed up today!

Man, I messed up big time today!

After 1 1/2 months of researching and viewing Spyders thru the internet, I drove the 1.5 hours to my nearest Spyder dealer to see one in person for the first time.

Addictive isn't it! You've been bitten that's for sure. There is only one cure,,, buy the Spyder!!! :spyder:

SilverFox

such a sexy tease photo, the massive RT in front, strutting it's stuff, a sleek '11 RSS in the background (mine looks the same, except never clean any more), AND a cute little '09(?) RS in red hiding behind the RT......
man, 3 dream machines in great shape, shiny and clean on the show floor....man, i wanna go there! my dealer always has one RT inside and all the RS/GS used/new outside (and during pollen season no less!).

Your not alone! I did the samething one day in March of 2009. Was checking them out online and after going to Pets Mart. I knew the dealer was a few blocks away and decided to go look. Next thing I knew, I was walking out with papers I had just signed. I done did it again and I don't regret it.

:congrats: on your new :spyder2:  and Welcome!

I was the same way first time I saw mine in the show room the saleman ask if he could help I ask what the bottom $$ out the door. (thought I was kidding) Never test drove one, rode it home that day (2010 black RTS) (Had to drive 40 miles back to pick the car up :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:)

...And so it begins... :2thumbs: Welcome to our nightmare! No spare cash, workdays spent planning weekend trips, weekends on the road... time wasted talking with similarly afflicted souls... :D
:congrats: :welcome:

Aw man sorry they didn't have a Pearl White one and you had to settle for the Silver / Magnesium .:roflblack::roflblack:

It was a toss-up for me the RTS Limited ( for about 2 grand more ) or the Magnesium. Went with the Limited . But even at that when both my Phantom SE5 and RTS Limited are in the garage my eye favours my SE5 Phantom ( 40 K happy miles on her )

It looks soooooo good in the showroom doesn't it?:roflblack::roflblack:

Good luck!!! But I see this is in FRS Powersports in Kirby. Go to Yamaha of Millington, they will give you an out-the-door-price. But I think YoM has a Blue RT-Audio & Convenience on the floor....

:welcome:--I also know the feeling. I did not even get to see my first Spyder in person. Saw the picture and the blurb in a motorcycle magazine in November 2007--don't remember now if it was Rider or Cycle World. That beautiful yellow--2008 GS--made me just want to have one. I ended up putting $1000 down in December and waited until June of 2008 before it came in. I am now riding my third :spyder2:--the 2010 RTS.

I was bit by the same bug love that color Loved it so much I took it home on 4-13-2011, now have 400 miles on the clock. One should'nt have this much fun with your clothes on

Love my:spyder2:
