Eastern Beaver PC-8 fuse panel...

Has anyone in the group installed the Eastern Beaver PC-8 fuse panel on their RT, and if so, what length kit did you buy, and where did you install it? :helpsmilie:

I couldn't find a good place that would allow access from both sides for wire installation, so I used their 3CS unit instead, and mounted it near the battery. I will do the same on the 2011. I don't really need more than three more circuits.

Jim at Eastern beaver will make you a harness to your lengths if you supply him the info and pay a nominal fee. You can get a good idea on length just by running a string or spare wire from the battery to where you want the Eastern Beaver installed.

I made my own harness...I already had the tools, so it was cheaper for me to do it then to pay him.

Thanks guys for the input. Now I just have to decide how large a panel I need/want, and where to install it. I have a pocket in the seatback recess under my Corbin seat, over the center rail area, that would allow me to mount something there. I think that the seat would give adequate protection as far as weather is concerned, and it would be easily accessible with the seat up. :2thumbs:

I did the wiring myself and installed it under the fake tank plastic.
