• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spare Key Fiasco ....

I have no Locksmith's who can do any "different " locks-- standard Honda is even hard for them-- This is a problem!!!! Several hours to a big town and I sure cant send off my Spyder key!!!!! No way!!!!! Gotta be better way- love the IPS deal but everyone will eventually figure it out!!!!! HArdto know what to do--- I had a slalesman lose a Piggaio key and he got the blank but no one could cut it---- took 2 years for me to find a place who knew a place that might cut it- this was an all day trip too!! UGH Joan

JoanJenn:

Can you post or send me a clear close up picture of your key? Let see what I can do with it.

Keys are an integral part of a professional locksmith's profession. How can a locksmith be "key challenged"? Are there not continuing education classes available for them? :dontknow:

Cougar:

Automotive (Motorcycle) locksmithing as always been a different animal for locksmiths, now with the transponder (Chip) keys added to the mix some like myself have decided not to invest the money and time to keep up with this part of our profession. One man shops small market, means no "no return on investment"

If you ever need a locksmith please check out ALOA (associated locksmiths of America), or ClearStar.com, They both have great locksmith finders at their web sites.
