• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oil Filters

I have a SE5 Spyder and just came back from buying the two filters i need to change oil. The dealer gave me 10% off and the price was still $28.00. For two little paper filters. What i would like to know has anyone cross referenced these filters. In M.N. we have a store thats called Fleet Farm that handles all kinds of filters at fair prices. I can cross over all my 4 wheelers and other motorcycles. I will be going there tonight and bringing the filters with me. If i can find a match for either filter i will post it here. Or if someone has already done this you could save me some time.

You won't find these at a farm store.... but you can get them from a site vendor here:

When you figure out what a Spyder costs, I don't think 28$ FOR TWO Filters that protect your engine is out of line. :dontknow:

oil filters

I did check around for filters and tried to cross reference. Best deal was Bajaron on this website. Fast shipping, good communication and very fair price.

I'm not sure why someone would question saving money when buying two filters to protect the engine. Makes sense to me provided the filters are good quality.

I have over 200,000 on my Avalanche and 260,000 on my other truck with Fleet Farm filters on them. About saving money? If you droped $10.00 on the floor would you bend down to pick it up? Or would that not make any sence to you either? If i can save a buck and pick it up while i am shopping. Thats the way i like to do things. I am on a Valkyrie site that has a crossover section. It has saved me quite a bit of money over time. Lets face it if you can go to the local parts store and buy a bearing or timing belt for half the price does that not make GOOD sence. People cry about gas going up $00.5 or there miles per gallon. :2thumbs:

Save your time and just order from Bajaron... you are not going to find them on any cross-reference table. They are very unique as they are NOT a twist-on filter. Only two 'brands' that I'm aware of that have them--- the OEM BRP units and the HIFLO units that Ron and some others sell.

4 Oil Filters + 4 Seal Kits - $45.50 --- not gonna beat that--- and YES you should replace all 3 seals every time.

I got 2 oil filters and an oil ring and 2 washers, plus postage for less than you paid for 2 filters. Plus Baja is a great guy!!!
