When you put your CC in to pay for gas and when done get your receipt and then push the clear button on the pump. That way your info is gone and the clerk inside doesn't have a chance of hitting your card again.
Also, this was on the news.there are people going around with scanners and they can scan your CC right through your wallet.:gaah: Wrap a pice of aluminum foil around your CC. This stops them.:lecturef_smilie:
In home depot, the clerk was showing me on the machine that you slide your CC through that when the little light comes on the left side top, someone has a scanner close and then she deletes the sale.

Keep in mind this only works with CC that have RFID such as FastPass CC's from Exxon or MasterCard's PayPass. I never use those because they are not secure.
