Not yet. I am spoiled with the Zumo GPS for now. I have the car mount for the truck and it works great. Will email you the JB map I use when I get home.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
So any Verizon folks going to get the iphone?

Since this thread is all over the place, I will add my .02.. was gonna upgrade to an iPhone with AT&T (no Verizon service out here in the boonies where I live).. but didn't want a 3GS ($49) and the 4 was $199, so I ended up with a Samsung Focus Windows Phone ($99).. this is my first venture into smart phones and so far I am happy.. not that I am a techie neophyte (30 years as a programmer/systems analyst) but I just resisted going to the small screen PCs.. so far so good...

ok i got alot of he said she said so i went to the verizon store here is the pricing plan for 2 iphones $99.99 for 700 minutes of talk and text its free for other verizon members you talk and text then $30.00ea for unlimited web and email they also have 700 min for $69.99 for talk only and $10.00 for 500 texts and $30.00 for unlimited web and email. They have tested the system and it will handle the influx of new iphone users no problem. Like firefly said it will only be on the 3g network. As far as an iphone 5 verizon says they have not heard anything about it and they just had a meeting and nothing was said or mentioned. I have made a choice i 'am going with an IPHONE and being i'am a verizon customer i can preorder on line at 12:00am on feb 3 and it will be shipped to me by feb 10th thats the day non verizon customers can get theres.
Now with that said i have a question for people who have the iphone already if something happens to your phone do they give you a loner? verizon did not know being it's new to them. ALso what are your favorite apps? bump

Iphone ordered at 3:10 am at 1pm it says iphone shipped SWEET :yes::yes::yes: only thing is as far as acessories go you have to buy whats on line or wait until FEB 10, in the stores. also if anybody else is ordering i learned for some reason you can only order from a comp that has internet explorer i don't know why but i tried to order from safari and it would not go and a friend of mine tried using google chrome did not work either. Verizon stores in my area are opening at 7:30 am on feb 10th must be expecting some business. ooops excuse while i wipe the drool from my keyboard. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
Not sure where the not being able to order from anything other than IE comes into play, I ordered mine from a Mac using google chrome... I ordered mine this morning as well...

The problem with Verizon is that nobody knows anything about anything. When the Omnia II came out, I told the guy at the store to put one away for me when they came in. The day before the stores got them they still didn't know they were coming. Once they did come in, I went in and showed them all the neat tricks you could do with it. Nobody at Verizon knew anything about it. Now that I'm waiting for the Samsung Droid 4G, they don't know anything about that either. It will be in the stores in a month.

The people i talked to admitted they had classes about the phone but as far as accessories and like what happens if you have to leave your phone for a repair do you get a loner? ( some people came forward on here and told me they never had a repair issue with the phone so they did not know either) i guess apple never told them about that part, as of now the phone is in west chester, pa looks like monday before i see it.

Funny stuff for sure---- but when does a person ever really want to talk on the phone AND surf the internet at the same time???
Where's the computer in the guys office? lol
I'd give up the 'surfing while talking' feature (that I've never used) for a SIGNAL any day of the week.
How good is that AT&T feature when you can't get a signal---- especially like the guy in the office--- AT&T iphone is horrible inside.
