I know I saw a post somewhere where a member had installed a rearview camera system to aid in ryde'n while pulling a camper/trailer. After numerous searches here & EBay & the net, I still can't find a system that has a weather-proof display. Most all have weather-proof cameras, some wireless even, but I haven't been able to locate any with a weather-proof display that you could mount on the RT dash. Since I've disconnected my analogue temp/gas gauges, I'd love to use a ram-mount in place of one gauge & mount the display for a camera system to help aid in keep'n an eye on things around me, since my camper is actually larger in size than my RTS. Would be even better to find a multiple camera system so I could use one for the road & another to keep an eye on Teddy see'n as he'll sometimes be ryde'n IN the camper & others on the back seat. Sadly, when I wear my full face helmet, I can't see him when I turn to look to make sure all is fine.
For the other disconnected gauge, I'd love to be able to mount a gps, again thinking of using a Ram-Mount system to accomplish this, that way all displays are easily viewable with a quick glance without actually having to look down between the handlebars.
So, all you mod ppl all there, let me here your thoughts on this. Am I just dream'n or is this something I could do w/out breaking the bank?:hun: I know there's a lot of ppl with tons more knowledge about these things than I, so that's why I'm ask'n. Any input is much appreciated:bowdown:
