• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HeliBars Power Mount

While searching for a way to install a GPS unit to my '09 :spyder2:SM5 (dealer installed) HeliBars, I found in their site http://www.hilibars.com two items of interest. A power mount for Can Am Spyder ($59.60) and a wiring harness ($24.00). Has any one used this set up and how good or bad is it? Thanks

Thanks Scotty and WackyDan, I have the HeliBars on the :spyder2: so I will order the mount and the wire harness ASAP and install it when my Corbin seat arrives sometime next week.

I use mine for the battery tender. I keep my ram mounts up higher in my field of view. I just added a powerlet plug to the tender and plug her in when in the garage.

I also siliconed where that power insert goes as it looked like water could get down through to the connector if I didn't.
