• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

clunk when going to first...

Scotty,
From the time my SE5 2008 Spyder was new it clunked when it went into 1st gear. So I just live with it as I do with a few other things. Any consolation?

Almost 30K on my Spyder and yup--- clunks--- always has--- always will-- just the nature of the beast.

Every drop it into first without using the clutch?

I have-- by accident--- engine stalls immediately as one would expect.

Only difference I've noticed with more miles is finding neutral has become more difficult--- not sure why--- but I really only use it during warm up or extended stops...... I know you're not supposed to drop into neutral at stop lights--- but on long ones I find myself doing it.

Over the the years i've found on some bikes, including the Spyder it gos into neutral easier if you go up to second then down to neutral.
My Kawasaki has a feature in it ,that when the bike is not moving and in First it will only go into neutral no matter how hard you push up.
