When you go to the dealer for any type of servicing, be sure to tell them what performance mods you have done to your Spyder. This may just help keep them out of trouble when the pull it around for service, or take it for a test ryde.
I took mine in to get new front tires put on it this morning. As I was the first customer at the shop, we were chatting about things before they started on my Spyder. The tech that came to get my Spyder was not one I had seen before, so I told him not to be too heavy on the throttle as even though it is an SE5 he would be surprised. After putting the tires on he took it for a test ryde. When he came back he thanked me for telling him about the performance mods. He said he would have been even more shocked by the speed had he not known, as my Spyder got off the line faster than any one he has ever ridden so far.
