• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hello i been out and am wondering if i can get an idea of what the events are concerning the spiders in the smokies rally. also wondering if my two spiders could still come. any help on where and when to be would be helpful. if any riders coming thru or close to banner elk-boone area let us know your schedule we can cruise together:helpsmilie::2excited::dontknow:

The more the merrier! If you are unable to attend the entire Spyders in the Smokies event, you at least have to try to make it to Lamont's BBQ on Thursday, Sept. 23. There is a sign up thread on here to add your name to the list, and we would love to meet you there.

RT is in the shop, just found out this afternoon it will be ready on Tuesday. My wife and I plan to leave on Wednesday for the event with the RT and RS. Wife went on the Spyders in the Smokies site tonight and it said registration is closed. We would have already registered however we did not know if the RT would be out of the shop in time to make the event. So my question is can you still register and attend and get tickets for the BBQ. would be a long way to travel if we could not attend the event. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I wouldn't worry about it. Since you didn't register, you won't get a T-Shirt. :yikes:
Come on. No one will know the difference. You can still ride through some beautiful country with some very nice people from all over the country plus Canada and Mexico. How can you pass that upnojoke
Plus, you can make the BBQ on Thursday:firstplace:

There are two BBQs. One Wednesday as part of the Meet and Greet part of Spyders in the Smokies and then Lamonts on Thursday. So I would email Mark on the spydertalk forum who sponsors the SITS event and I would also PM Lamonster on this site for the latest info. I would bet both will make room for you.

What part of Mississippi?

Thursday BBQ

I'm a teacher and can't leave until after school on Thursday. I hate to miss the BBQ at Lamont's. Does anyone know the approximate time that it will end? I probably can't get there until about 5:30 or 6:00, and wonder if it will all be shut down by then. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

There may not be any BBQ left but i'm sure there will be plenty of folks hanging out. :doorag:

:chat: Sounds like a good day to hire a substitute teacher. :D
Hope you can make it.

Hey Burntup!

Vickie and I are leaving Hickory via I-40 to Gatlinburg on Wednesday morning (probably around 8:30). We are staying at the Days Inn in Gatlinburg. If you're interested in riding along with us, let me know.
