• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

monster garage 29/30 tooth sproket

welcome I have not had any trouble with mine.. About 4K on the sprocket.. I can tell you this, I'm not real hard on my spyder though, I'm thinking if you are hard on take offs its not going to last long.. Just my 2 cents worth.. I think I've only did a small burn out since I've had the spyder otherwise again, I treat mine pretty easy..

I'll verify that!

I'm not so sure this is a fare assessment of the gear, we all know how HARD Doc is on his spyder.. Ha Ha..

:roflblack: True, but it is what it is. :D

Most others have posted they haven't had any problems with it. I do have a slight habit of doing burnouts, so it may not be a good idea for me to get one of these either. ;)

I wouldn't trust one of those sprockets------ heck the OEM ones even have problems------ switching to an aluminum one will only make things worse.....

If ya have to baby it to use the thing--- why bother?

Different strokes for different folks. As some have stated, they like to putt around and look at the scenery, we are not two of those types. :D

TWO CENTS..

I think the big problem cause failure is using the tranny as a brake from upper speeds rather than disk brakes..

I think there may be something to that for sure. When you are riding hard braking is not something you want to do in many situations. So if you ride hard, and I am one of those that do pretty often, I would not trust that sprocket to hold up.

If yer not a maniac like me, chances are it'll do just fine! :roflblack: :roflblack:
