• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got a pm yesterday from friends. One of our crew isn't going to make it this year, but he has yet to cancel his reservations at Red Roof Inn. Unless he changes his mind. There should be one more room available.

That place is a total dump - try another hotel. It smells like mold and pets. Outdated, in the back end of a street with a completely creepy abandoned motel across from that. There's a nice one down the road that looks like a huge log cabin - pretty cool. there's more on the main drag.

Mike and I had no such problems at the Red Roof Inn. Is was just a simple place to stay --- not fancy-- but also only $50 a nite.....

Wish we could go, but with us not owning a spyder yet. I would be so sad.. lol
Thats the week I took off too but Hubby wants to go to the beach instead.

Have fun whoever is going, and bring back lots of pictures!

My room was just fine...clean and no smells. Or maybe I had too many Smithwick's

+2 The first year we stayed there and were overjoyed with the accommodations for the price. As I recall, it was half of what the "official" Spyder in the Smokies hotel was charging. Definitely not as fancy but we can't afford $150 (or more) a night motels every time we go to a Spyder event.

Great place to stay-----plus the parking lot is full of spyder lovers.

Inquiring minds want to know------who else is under the Red Roof

We stayed at Red Roof last year and will be there this year. Price is right. Room is basic. How much time you going to be in the room anyway.
