There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. MO Spyder Family

I can't say enough about the tight-knit group of SpyderLovers here in Missouri. The hospitality and generosity of the collective is impossible to compare.

There have been several testimonials of this (most on this forum) and yesterday was another example.

The group collectively organized to meet and ride in the Independence Day Parade in Cabool, MO. We had a great time participating and just meeting and visiting.

Ricky Len (SpyderLover Supreme and Cowtown USA Superstar) arranged for a visit to the Piney Ridge Ranch (http://pineyridgeranch.com) at the open invitation of another new SpyderLover family, Marvin Francis and his wonderful wife. They were wonderful hosts to the pitbull buggy, BumbleBee, Mo Lee, xpeschon, jaanpla, mike, Sparkie, and spouses and kids. We toured their property, lodge, and home, swam, BBQ’d, and had a great afternoon of camaraderie. Others may chime in about the driving tour of the ranch. Unfortunately, I missed it as I had to depart early.

jaanpla had a minor problem with his Spyder (08 RS) he explains on another thread http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20861, that had the potential to put a real damper on the day. But once again the "crew" came through, led by Ricky Len (the pitbull buggy), co-Rock Starring xpeschon and Mo Lee.

jaanpla's Spyder was disabled 145 miles from home. the pitbull buggy had ridden out on one of his RTS's from Cowtown USA. He loaned his RTS to jaanpla for the ride home the pitbull buggy rode home on four wheels (bummer). There was absolutely no obligation for him to do this, as jaanpla's Spyder was purchased from a third party. xpeschon offered to pick the RTS the following day and return it to Cowtown USA. Mo Lee and his wife escorted jaanpla most of his way home to ensure safe arrival. The generosity (in light of the risk) is astounding! jaanpla's spyder was picked up and towed to Coutown USA, where if the insurance company doesn't total it (fingers crossed) the expert, supreme beyond compare, Spyder techs, will have it back on the road in short order, with a silver lining.

Before I wind up writing a book, my recommendation to anyone thinking seriously about buying a Spyder is; first move to Missouri, second visit Cowtown USA.

Thanks to everyone who joined us. Thanks again to Marvin and his wife for hosting us. Looking forward to next time. Happy and safe ryding. :doorag:

Even though I had that mishap of the fire even though the BBQ was supposed to be for the food and not my Spyder :roflblack: I still had a great day. It was nice ryding with all of you guys! As soon as my Spyder is back on the road if it is salvageable, I look forward to ryding with you guys again :2thumbs:

+1 Spending time at the same motel as Len and Joe and some of the rest of your group, in Libertyville, made me appreciate you all the more. All I can say is Michigan is too far away! :firstplace:

Well spoke G-Man.. Nothing to add, it was a WONDERFUL time and thanks to all that made this event just as good as (if actually NOT better) then the BRP event in Chicago ( with the exception of the seeing and visting all the other spyderlovers group) and as for cost a whole LOT less, just gas everything else was provide.. Wow what a great group of spyderlovers,, to Bumble Bee, G-Man, Mo-Lee- Lilly (Wife), Mike and his gang, Joe, Len and last but NOT least by no means, to the Crew at Piney Ridge Range, I thank you and lets do it again soon... I do have some pictures but my wife and I are on our way up to Jefferson City to spend the night and pick up the RT from Joe,, And she's in the back ground ready to role.. Joe I will call you around 11:00 and we can go from there..

X-Joe

PS: Just to let the MO GROUP no we pulled in at 10:30 and was on Hwy 19 in the dark 1/2 the way, was fun we may have to incorporate this road in Spyderfest 2011.. Highway 19 ROCKS, (only during the day)

R U trying to bust me out brother?? Now that at right---Anyway I will tell the story cause I know someone out here will "Tell It" and I want to make sure its right,,, So you all see the picture of us on the balcony right? Anyway we had just arrived at the range and was getting a tour of the place,,, While we where on this balcony area (You must understand we are also in the distance looking at a 10 foot fence that run's around his property) theres this animal that appears right at the fence line out of nowhere,, I must admit I was pretty EXCITED to be there,, anyway I pointed to the animal, (and it was rather small I will admit) and said something like this: "Hey check it out, what do you call that animal", (also understand the animal was somewhat in bushes and stuff) and Marvin ( the owner of the ranch said) "We call that a cocker spaniel",, Needless to say after a bit of a closer look and everyone kind of chuckling I did notice it was a Dog,, here the best part,, Heck I own two cocker spaniels,,,,,,, Again I will inform you that I was VERY EXCITED to be there and put my foot in my mouth right away,, As long as everyone got a kick out of it thats cool, its all in good taste,, Marvin uses the Cocker Spaniels to run the deer on his property... So there you have it out in the open Mo Lee,,,,, And to answer your question,, I don't have a picture of the Dogs but I thought one of you folks for the whole Spyderlovers to get a kick out of,,, Oh and Darn, I thought you all forgot about that little mishap,, Crap!!! Funny stuff for sure,, That is why the "Missouri Crew" has so much fun!! Thanks for reminding me Mo Lee,, I owe ya one... Have a great work week ya all and see ya on the forum..

X-Joe
