I don't have a service contract and it was as follows:
Labor: $569.50
Parts: Oil ect. $ 72.92
Misc. $ 14.98
Total: $657.40
This included change of oil. Adding spark plugs. Adjusting drive belt and torquing rear wheel lock nut. Diagnostic run on everything. (which gladly turned out good) Checking tires, and you name it. A very thorough service and inspection.
Hope this helps.

Had the pre-paid maintenance for the 2009 GS, but bought the RT-S from a dealer that doesn't have pre-paid maintenance agreements.I had my 6k mile check up done 10 days ago, the parts came to $119.90 and labor $880.00
I used my 3 times a year pre-paid matinence agreement on this one and I will again on the 12k,the 9k will be up to me.

Some one is getting hosed.
Feel the same way. Dealer said it would take the better part of 6 hours to do the work. I'm not in a position to know if that's legitimate or not, but I do trust the dealer and the BRP certified tech doing the work. So, as I've said before, I'm holding on to my wallet, but then reality sets in....Someone is definitely getting hosed.
I may have been, but I'll gladly pay. I have a very good relationship with my dealer and it's "tech". I look at it this way. I know very little about how my spyder runs. All I know is that I haven't had any trouble (knock on wood) with my spyder, I have really enjoyed it and I can afford the amount being charged. What more is there?

Got the RT-S back today and the 6,000 mile check only hit the wallet $564.18. The Tech said everything checked out to specs and per the manual. Expected the hit to be a lot higher. Ready to roll for the 12,000 check.
