• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Y Gaskets...Looking for hints and tips for install.

Does the RT-S have the same Y-Gaskets?

Same engine. Most likely has same headers and pipe size, though the y pipes/manifold might be a bit different. I image on the RT that they are more work to get to, but I'll let Lamont or another RT owner talk to that.

Today I took off the Y pipe to change the two exhaust gasket and once I removed the Hindle and the rubber that holds the Y pipe the whole pipe was very loose at the two joint where the two gasket are now I know why I was getting so much fumes, I also notices that inside the pipes there were two different colors the right side was white/silver and the left side was black and where the Y meets and become one it very black from that point anyone knows what this means are the plugs not burning the same, I also plan to change to the Iridium spark plugs. Does it matter which side I put the new gasket on, either the male pipe or inside the female side and also when I took of the Hindle I now know why I am getting exhaust leaks there as well as where the bolt to the clamp the pipe at that point it's not a perfect round anymore I believe the clamp was too tight and it cause the pipe to loose it's round shape so now how do I fix this problem.

In regard to the hindle...Do a search on hindle and slot or slotting.

Others have noticed that the union between the hindle and y pipe is not fully round when clamped. They resolved that by cutting slots in the hindle to help the clamp form it perfectly round. Do a search and you will find pictures. I believe Lamont did a post on it.
