• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for Phantom owners

I am considering getting the Phantom kit. However, most flat finishes that I have experienced are easily scratched and some are heavily rubber based and scratch and peel as well. Please let me know what your experience with the BRP kit has been. Also, how has it faired after washing?

Thanks,

Love the Phantom Black. Put it on 12,000 miles ago, no problems at all except the Harley guys drooling all over it . I wax it with a product called ICE and it puts a nice low luster sheen to it. This product can get on any finish and doesn't leave white marks.

Get ready to go faster as the Phantom Black gets about 25 horse power more.:roflblack::roflblack:

Cool! That's what I wanted to hear. I've heard it said that once you go black you won't go back :D. Thanks for the input.

My Phantom is off the chain. No issues what so ever with chips and cleaning. It's still smooth after 3,000 miles later and the extra horses are there are ready go. :ohyea:

no chips here but it does scratch easy but then I would think th eother colors scratch as easily. I set one of my fenders on the driveway and it scartched the hades out of it.

I have a phantom from the factory and love it's look. I use Pledge wipes on it to keep it clean and tidy looking. I get many complements. Can't say much about how well it wears over time yet- just 650 miles! But that will change soon.

FYI - Phantom owners are having to clean their Spyders so often because of the dirt that the RED :spyder2:s are throwing up in front of you! :roflblack:

Yup, when in doubt, black it out.:2thumbs:

No one really knows how fast a Phantom goes because of the stealth factor. All you hear is a sonic boom when I pass you.:ohyea:

The phantom black also will make it harder for the cops to read your speed using LIDAR (laser gun). nojoke
