• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New SpIder?

No worries on this thing guys its been around for quit a while now its cheap chinesses junk, it will never be anything to even talk about.if some one is dumb enought to buy one it won't last long and it will be broke and you wont be able to get parts for it or someone to work on it.......THESE THINGS ARE JUST TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:agree:For now!= But i can remember when the words were, '' Cheap Japanese junk'' Then it was ''Cheap Korean Junk''. :ohyea:

This is probably typical of the cheap Chinese scooters you see around town. The 49 cc $600 ones. They last until something breaks or wears out and then you can't find anybody to fix them or even get parts to fix them yourself.
Looks like an interesting toy, but I wouldn't buy one.

I've also seen a 49cc three wheeler that looks very much the same.

The only thing positive to say about this is that it is WIDER and LOWER than the Spyder. Too bad there's not enough HP to really push it through the corners.

From the pictures, fit and finish are "shaky at best."

I do believe it is a 250cc glorified scooter. The same company makes a lot of the cheap scooter you see running around. Top speed may be about 65 or 70 not sure I would trust it on the highway. Here is a more expensive version of the same thing I found on line:http://wizbangblue.com/2009/02/27/a-wild-new-three-wheeled-motorcycle.php

This explains the conversation I had yesterday when I had someone walk up to ask about my RS they said "how fast does really that go...60---70 MPH?" I just motioned him over to look at my speedometer. :D

60-70 MPH...right after that conversation I promptly when out on the road with no traffic and got 100 MPH certified. :2thumbs:

Yup... I had a customer at my local dealer that was looking at our Spyder say he thought the price was out of line as he "knew" of a dealer selling a brand new 2010 model for $6000. I told him that there was a cheap knock off scooter on the market and that was probably what he was looking at and he insisted it was a brand new 2010 Spyder... So he was full of it and I left it at that... Not worth debating with someone like that.

old news i saw this thing last year and told brp about it thay said there lawers were working on it last i heared there was not much that could do about because i was from china go figure what a shock :yikes:

Conversely, I have the only Spyder in Carroll County, Indiana. One of the first comments I hear is: "Oh, I saw that in a TV ad. How do you like it?":D
