I have no idea what you are referring to. Do you have a picture of what I am missing?:hun:
Dean, it comes with a tube of adhesive for sticking it on. I will let you know how the entire procedure works as soon as mine gets here if you like.
Michael, that would be great!.
I'm tempted to get one, but not really sure I'll need it here in Newfoundland in our temps (highest we get is 85F or so, but not for extended periods of time).
You may not need it with temps like that. In the summer time it is not uncommon for our overnight low temp to be in the 80's. Add nearly 100% humidity to that on many days, and it becomes nearly intolerable to be outside.
Im no mechanic, but if the engine runs cooler it usually will last longer, at least thats how i understand it, but im sure i will be corrected if im wrong...Yeah, that's hot and humid.
I'm trying to figure out if there is a general benefit of running the Spyder engine slightly cooler, even in out summer time temps (20-30C / 68F - 85F).
In general will my Spyder like me more if I can cool it a little more in these temps????:dontknow:
I do like the idea that when moving it will be slightly cooler, so that when I come upon a stop sign/red light, it will take a little more time then usual to raise those temp bars while waiting for the green.

Appreciate the reply. Anyone else?
Thanks.
Dean,
Check out a thread by lamonster, 08/19/09 = new temp gage with bar readings.
Is there an inside edge on the radiator that needs to be "plugged up"? If so, does this air dam cover the inside edge too? Also, what else that's coming out? I might want to get all the goodies all at once and save a bit with combined shipping. The "Missing Air Dam" was started on this thread last week, go here: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=18794

The only question I have now is, how long before this black weather stripping sealant will wash off my fingers?
I am not sure but I don't think Harvey charged for that.

I hope one of those new items is a belt stone guard. :2thumbs:We will be coming out with new items within a couple of weeks if our plans work out and if you can wait that long.
