Just out of curiosity, what kind of paint is that exactly?
At one time I was looking at the Dupont Luminescent paint that changes colors based on how the sun hits it. This is definitely another very cool paint that I have not seen anywere around here.
...and if you dont mind me asking, what's the typical cost for a paint job like that?
It's Spectra Chrome (Candy Apple Red). It can be done in all colors. Here's a link to their website.

And these guys did my bike:

:2thumbs: Very cool :2thumbs:, I hope to see ya around here in Hampton Roads, I think I'll have to wear shades, and sun block :yikes: my eyes.:clap:
If that paint is as mirror like as it looks and the sun is shining off it, maybe if they hit you it was because they were temporarily blinded. I might do something like that on some parts -- but not brave enough to do the entire bike.
Did you ever get a price for the paint job? I looked online and the paint costs about $2-$3 per square foot but it also requires some new equipment, probably some training, etc -- so not sure what a paint shop would charge.

welcomethat is gorgeously awesome! <3
Hey, never thought about it that way. The paint job is about 4500 to 5000. Just having certain pieces done would bring the price down a lot.
Thanks again for all of the compliments. Yeah it was a little expensive, but to have a one of kind bike it's totally worth it. Here are the pictures. I posted them a little while ago, but forgot to post the link.Wow. that preice is pretty hefty... but at the end you have something unique... :firstplace:
Now WHERE are the PICTURES !!!!!! :gaah:
