• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Paint & Mods

Thanks again for all of the compliments. Yeah it was a little expensive, but to have a one of kind bike it's totally worth it. Here are the pictures. I posted them a little while ago, but forgot to post the link.

Saw them... thanks..

I love your paint. I think is awesome.. but I would have gone with chrome parts instead of black.. just my humble opinion..
I think that chrome would give your Spyder the ultimate edge...

chrome swingarm, brackets, pegs etc...

Glad you like them. I thought about chroming the other parts, but I would have had to send the rims away to be done. They wouldn't have been done and returned to me for about 6 weeks. I started the process just before spring, which is the busiest time for paint and chrome shops. This winter I'll be having the rims & sprocket cover chromed. I don't want to make it to shiny (I know to late). I like the painted chrome to black ratio, with a little chrome mixed in (see side picture). Believe me I've gone over this in my head since it's been done. Just think my original plan was to have it painted the Iron Man colors. It would have been a darker red & gold chrome. That was gonna cost more than I wanted to pay. Thanks again for all of the compliments.

Beautiful

Now you've gone and done it !! Mama saw the pictures and you are probably gonna cost me some money, HaHa

Thanks for all of the positive feedback!
Here's a new video with a few modifications.

Ok this stuff is nuts!!! Just called the manufacturer to get someone in the California area and was quoted between 8-10K to paint my red panels with the red Spectra Chrome paint!!!!

If that paint is as mirror like as it looks and the sun is shining off it, maybe if they hit you it was because they were temporarily blinded. I might do something like that on some parts -- but not brave enough to do the entire bike.

Did you ever get a price for the paint job? I looked online and the paint costs about $2-$3 per square foot but it also requires some new equipment, probably some training, etc -- so not sure what a paint shop would charge.

Dennis

I was just quoted over the phone to paint mine at 8-10K..... yes i said "K"
