• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Last year we planned a Spyder Run that goes to all of the covered bridges in Bucks County PA but had to cancel due to weather.

For those interested, I was thinking about planning a run this year on Sunday, 25 July (1 Aug rain date).

Again, we would start with a 9 AM breakfast at Pat's Colonial Kitchen in Newtown PA and then hit 12 bridges in Bucks County and 1 outside Stockton NJ:

The route is 90 miles and should take 3 hours 15 minutes plus time for photographs. We shouldn’t need to get gas if everyone starts with a full tank. The ride will end up in Doylestown PA around lunchtime.

My brother lives in Doylestown so I'll be riding up on the 24th if anyone wants to ride with me.

I'm thinking of taking the "scenic route"...about 30 mins longer but avoids the PA Turnpike

  • I-81 from Martinsburg through Carlisle PA to Middlesex PA (US-11)
  • US-11 to I-83 in Harrisburg PA
  • I-83 to I-283/PA-283
  • PA-283 to US-30
  • US-30 to US-202

I liv ein NJ and belong to a scooter club-I used to ride a scooter. Our group plans many rides of both short and long distance. WE have two iron butt members-One just did 4800 miles in 9 days on a 300 cc scooter.

I used to ride a maxi scooter and the group accepts everyone more or less. We are doing a "Seven Bridges and Mystic Island tour on May second.


This is a ride thru back roads in S.Jersey. Thru a Turff farm, blueberry fields, past Basto Village.
On to rt.9 past Mystic Island to Oak ave to Seven bridges to beach across bay from A.C.
Speeds for this ride, scooters must be able to maintain 55mph. Round trip from Meetup
point in S.J. 125 miles.
The Meetup point in S.J. is Dunkin Donuts at Town Square 302 White Horse Pike Atco, N.J.
The actual Rt. is Rt.30E to Fleming rd. to 542E to Rt.9N to Oak Ave to end . Right to seven
bridges to beach end. Lunch at Italian bistro at Rt. 9N & Oak ave.

I would love to meet-up with fellow Spyder riders as well. I live off of exit 312-Downintown exit.
