wake up problem

:dontknow: I installed the wake up brake system on my :spyder: The problem I have is that it works intermittently. it works only about once in 4 or 5 times when the brakes are applied.has this happened to anyone.

It is a plug and play relay for the tail lights on your Spyder that makes them flash 3 times when you hit the brake pedal. It is meant to "Wake Up!" the drivers behind you on the road.

Not really. The Triple Play converts your turn signals to brake lights as well. This only connects to the stock brake lights and flashes them. Here is a direct link to the product page:

However, with that being said, if you have a unit that flashes the brake lights 3 times, than it is possible that it is having the same problem. Since ESI is aware of what the problem is, I would give them a call tomorrow and talk to them about what you are experiencing as well. They may be able to get is sorted out fairly quickly for you.

uh huh, think I got it now, same but different, no got mine figured out over a year ago, but sounds like he is having the same issues with a different named product. hope all goes well and definetly contact them. Good luck....

It's a rubber hand that slaps you up side the head every time you hit the brakes... It has an optional upgrade that hands you a cup of black coffee after every 4 applications!

I would have to modify that system right out of the box to hand me a soda instead, as I don't like coffee. Perhaps it could dispense No-Doze pills and 5-Hour Energy shots! :roflblack:

If you don't get a resolution, for your "Wake-up", that you paid :gaah:$80.00 for. I like ESI but they don't have the corner on all great idea's, and there exclusive parts are much higher than they should be. Just my opinion.
