• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Congrats on your new Spyder...

Maybe it was still "hot" because of the 20 odd second delay in the power off of some circuits?
Just a thought.:dontknow:

Lighter outlet in rear trunk is always hot, key on or off. I use for my trickle charger. That may be the fuse you've found that is hot. I'd ask Lamont to be sure. He will know for sure.

There will be power even on a switched power source after the Spyder is turned off. I think it's 15 or 20 seconds.

I found that to be the case on my wife's '08 when I installed the J&M CB system last weekend. Stays powered on for 15 or 20 seconds after turning off the ignition. I also noticed there are other electronic sounds operating during that same time. I concluded it is done purposely by BRP to provide time for controlled shutdowns for some components. Kind of like when you shut off your PC, there are lot's of things needing to be brought down before power is removed.
