• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removing Body Panels

I did a search and couldn't find the answer:helpsmilie:. Does anyone know how to remove the front fenders and center panel?

Thanks!

Front fender has four bolts underneath...after you remove the front wheel. What center panel are you talking about? The Y-panel in front of the seat, or the trunk lid? Many of the body panel removal instructions are in your Owner's Guide.

best thing is to bye book on spyder from dealer shows how to get everything off spyder cost $125.00

Yes I will use a wrench.:2thumbs: Actually I didnt even think of looking in the book:opps:

Any yes, I was talking about the Y panel

Thanks everyone for the responses.

To remove the console, Y piece, you open the front trunk, frunk. The remove the black plastic piece that covers the fuse block and the BUDS connector by pulling up and out on it. This will expose two screws that you use the torx bit screwdriver piece from your tool kit to remove. Then lift the seat, and you will find 2 black plastic pins. You need to carefully use a flat head screwdriver to pop those pins out of there holders, and then remove the holders as well. The center piece will then lift up and out by pulling it to the rear.

This is for the RS models, I am not sure if the RT is the same set up or not.

A book is nice, but everything I've needed to far...

Oops...everything I needed SO far I got from wonderful people here! Thanks guys!!:D
