• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spring is almost here(for us anyway^^) and i know you are itching for spyder trip and laughlin seems to be in the middle of 3 states.
March 19th thru 21st in laughlin before it's invaded by water sports folks and be too hot and hotels are still cheap. of course dates are flexible if more ryders can make it at a later date. i just thought it would fit right in with weather and well before memorial day holiday.

Friday 19th.
dinner for those who arrive early. if you can not get here on friday at decent hour, we will get a late start on our ryde to las vegas or if you are coming from vegas or nothern part of CA or NV and prefer to meet in Vegas that is fine too.

Saturday 20th.
we will ryde to vegas via us95 and have lunch buffet at newly opened Aria(city center) hotel, hang a bit and ryde back via AZ95 over hoover dam with possible detour to lake mead if time permits. we should be back in laughlin just in time for dinner.

Sunday 21st.
ryde to lake havasu and lunch at lakeside restaurant and a short ryde to bluewater,az and say good bye from there.

i have done a dry run last week and weather was almost perfect, it was 75 degrees in lake havasu. if enough ryders show interest, i will check and see if we can get a discount on hotel. if not we will try at another time. i have organized few rydes before i moved to vegas and sometimes timing is just not right for ryders but we shall see.:D
 
I'd be up for that. I might not make all 3 days but that would be a good run. Make sure you stay away from Laughlin April 21 - 25 though, thats River Run week.

i have at least 2 ryders coming from cal as of now and hopely and probably more and seems like 2nd weekend of april looks good.

it will give enough time for those butts to rest for those who's doing the ironbutt run:D
 
i have posted the ryde on ryders map on brp's website. if those who are planing to come would register, that would be great.:thumbup:
 
i went to 3 different local dealers for help with the ryde and they all agreed to do as much as possible to promote the ryde but it really has not materialized yet but i am still hopeful.:2thumbs:
i really hope we don't have to cancel the ryde due to lack of interest, then again, i ryde more than that just for the heck of it so we shall see.
 
i am sorry to say meeting in laughlin is now canceled due to lack of interest. may be we shall try again in fall and i thank those who responded.
