• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:congrats: Deb. Glad to hear you got your Spyder back. It's about time eh? Let's just hope when it comes to Brian's there will be a little less of this :chat: going on so Brian won't find himself doing this :banghead:. By the way, the free gloves were nice (you shouldn't have had to ask), but when you walked through that door the owner should have been like this .

So you let Brian eat, that means the hunger strike is over. :congrats: on the successful jail break.

Good to hear, Deb! Even with your full-face helmet on, I can see your smile in the photo. :2thumbs:

Bruce

Thanks Bruce,
I was a little concerned at first, I could hardly shift into any gear and just forget neutral. Everything was so tight and hard, it was crazy. I was also thinking I was feeling some steering issues, didn't know if my spyder had developed a problem or I was imagining things after reading so much about it. Anyway, after 2 days of riding and getting back into the swing of things, the gears are shifting better and it is almost back to normal. I also checked my tire pressure on a whim and sure enough, the fronts were down to 11 and 12 and my rear was at 20. So I put all the proper psi in my tires and "bam" no more steering issue. It never really was the steering I realize, just some pulling with the low tire pressure. So now I am all set to be riding and we have 8 inches of snow and it just started snowing again. You and Gail are probably snowed in pretty well yourselves. Great to hear from you. I am sure we will be talking soon.

It figures the snow would decide to become a factor just after you get your Spyder back. :(

How are things going with Brian's?

Good stuff, Deb. I was told by my dealer when I bought my Spyder that proper tire pressure is critical for the Spyder to handle well, so your experience would tend to support that.
All kinds of snow here too, although not nearly as much as we had last winter, which was completely over the top as winters go.
Hope all is well with you and Brian, and hopefully we will catch up with each other sometime this riding season.

Best,

Bruce

:congrats: Its Funny how were always SAD to shut the motor off and end the ride?

Ain't that the truth! Last two days I sat in the parking lot at work looking at the turnstile not wanting to turn that key. It was a "balmy" 32F yesterday and :spyder: read 52F when I pulled in the parking lot today. Steering issues and all, I didn't want to shut down. Took some fighting to make it take the exit for work....and that wasn't from steering issues.:ohyea: Well OK, personal steering issues.
