Is the S2S seat all that much better compared to the RTL seat?

Hi folks , well my deal fell through on the 2022 Sea to Sky I was purchasing.

The reason I was buying Sea to Sky was for the comfort seat but as I look through the years I find I don’t prefer the offered green or the matte mystery blue. I’ve been reading and reading and it would seem there is no difference in the ride Rt Ltd compared to S2S and there seems to be more colour options with new 2020 design so I’m thinking can I simply replace the RTL seat with the S2S seat. Is the S2S seat all that much better in the long run? Thanks hope to hear some input from all the savvy riders here.

If you want affordable comfort (in many cases much better than a $1000 seat) try a sheepskin cover. Cool in summer, warm in winter, and nice and soft. Hideously beautiful!

I would like to be slid back a bit. Not ready to spend hundreds on a maybe, and unlike Harley where you could try different seats at the dealership

I happened to find a s2s seat that someone upgraded and it was more for the misses. She really likes it. Then I moved the passenger backrest up about an inch to make it comfortable.

You were buying a S2S for the seat only?? I have a 2022 S2S, and the OEM seat is Ok. I bought a heated take off seat on ebay for $125 and sent it off to Russell Day Long. Now that's a seat!! I'm kinda partial to the Mystery Blue
