Does a 2025 Sea to Sky have jam nuts on the inner tie-rod ends? Can someone look for me to confirm/deny?

After looking at the inner tie-rod ends on my bike, it does not have jam nuts to tighten to the rod like the outer tie-rod ends do. Looking at the parts diagram on the BRP website, it clearly shows jam nuts on both inner and outer tie-rod ends.

I contacted BRP Customer Service and they could not help me. They then transferred my call to the Can Am dealership I purchased the bike from. The parts department could not confirm this either, since the part comes as a whole assembly, not individual parts. I hit a pothole and the handle bars are slightly turned to the right. When centered, it goes left. This is why I was looking at the tie-rods. I have an appointment to get the bike worked on next week.

Is there anyone who can look at their bike and see if there are jam nuts on the inner tie-rod ends. For my own sanity and curiosity, if nothing else, I will look at a bike on the show room floor when I get to the dealership. Thanks!

Might need a laser alignment. You would think they come aligned properly, but some don't, the best is ROLO laser alignment system. Next is out of balance Kenda OEM tires, can lead to what seems like pulling. Next is bad grip from the Kenda tires. Car tires are better built, with better grip.

All RT models have the same tie rods. The length might have changed from the redesign in 2020+, but 2014-2019 should be the same.

When I had my RTL ROLO laser aligned, going thru curves became so much smoother. No more constant moving of the handlebars to keep an easy line.

The handlebars could not be too far off, there is a steering sensor that can only be reset by BUDS. And it would put your Spyder into limp mode if it was too far off.

I just looked and there are NO jam nuts on the inner side.

As long as one end is unable to turn i.e. the end in the tie rod end joint, the rod can't turn can it?

I would think it wouldn't, since there is a nut on the outside holding it in place. But I have owned four wheelers and also have a 2009 Can Am Spyder which has jam nuts at both ends. Yes, I am aware that designs can change, and if you look at the diagram, it's there. I saw a picture of a tie rod for 2019-2024 RT's which did have the inner jam nuts on it. Not sure if there was a change in 2025, but you would think there would not be. Maybe it doesn't need one on the inner; it just seems odd that they are not there.

I just checked my 2013 Spyder ST. It has jam nuts on both inner and outer tie rod ends.

Because your tie rod ends are a type of ball joint and not a fixed end, if one end is not locked down it has the potential to change over time. Go out and grab your tie rod and twist it. You will see it rocks back and forth. Without being locked down couldn't it screw in or out slightly on the end not locked down. At a minimum shouldn't it have some penetrating thread locker? Mine has jam nuts on inner and outer. Just had mine laser aligned and one inner nut was not even touching the adjuster rod. Question them on this and they said yes it should be locked down. I then read them the riot act for my $300 dealer performed alignment.
