• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

10 year parts law - will parts for the 1330 engine/trans still be available into 2036?

Or find a body man that knows what he's doing and think out of the box and do some test strips and match it that way!
When I hit the German Shepherd with my Champagne 2018, the new panels were not available in the 2 year model color. So they sent replacement panels out to a body shop to be painted along with a broke off Champagne part. Result was one could not tell the OEM remaining panel from the newly painted panels. It added about 1500 bucks, with total of 5525.

Last July on the way out of DEADWOOD, a deer smacked the wife' s 2020 F3 L and I got the last Liquid TI painted right front fender in North America. All of the body shops I checked with couldn't use the BRP paint codes in their paint systems, bike painters as well. A lot of the dealers had black parts only.
T.P.
You do not have to work by paint codes. It's easier but not the only way. GOOD body shops have optical paint scanners that can auto mix to match a color. That is how my Spyder ended up Harley Blue Burst to match my Wife's Street Glide.

^^^^ This. Maybe I'm spoiled by living in an area where automotive culture is a big deal, but every paint supplier has scanners to match existing paint, and all the better body shops can match even exotic custom colors. Moto Guzzi is notorious for not having usable paint codes (although Ferrari Red is real close to my 2007 Norge Red) and the Pearl White on my Goldwing is a three stage paint and not available as a touch-up paint from Honda. Not a problem getting stuff painted to match the existing panels.

Great color combo by the way - the red works well with that blue.
