Just returned fm the javitz center in NY,the motorcycle show.If Can Am wants top sell the spyder they better get more qualified personell to show their wares.i found the people there most unenthusiastic about selling the spyder and the new models on display. Some of the current spyder owners at the show were most helpful and responsive than the reps for CanAm.I spent 30 mins. w/ a disabled motorcycle enthusiast who was very interested in the spyder but had some reservatoins about it(steering issues, mods ,avail.access,.etc).It was great to talk to other potential spyder owners and share my personal experiences with and about my spyder. At less than 2yrs ownership and over 250000 mis.,I'm happy to promote the spyder and find new happy owners. The rt and rs are great additions to the spyder line. The display was great and the models were all there but the tech advice and the salesmanship were ,in my opinion,POOR!How about letting TRUE spyder owners show up at these events and sell the spyder?I'm sure there are more qualified people on this site that would do a bettere job at promoting the spyder than the factory hacks i've met at these events. Many women were asking for info on the spyders specifics and differenences vs.conventinal motorocycles and i felt that the reps. blew them off.I carry my personal photos of my spyder and my mods to show eveyone and sometimes it really makes an impression that show how versitlile the machine really is.I'm sad to say that this the second time I've been to one of these events and found CanAm to have a poor showing.Anyone have thoughts abour this?HAPPY SPYDER OWNER AND THANKS TO LEDGEWOOD POWERSPORTS FOR MAKING IT THAT WAY!:dontknow:
