• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Spyders in the Smokies 2010?

I would love to see the date set for August.

Beginning of August would be great, before school starts :D

Several of us from Waynesville are planning to attend this year :2thumbs:

I hope Mo Lee and xpeschon are planning to join us!!

:agree: Being able to walk down the street to the bar (and stagger back!) was nice. I can't wait to see what arguments you and Gene come up with this year! :D

:agree:

Between having the bar within walking distance (not to mention most of the other stuff) - what I really liked about being at that Red Roof was the proximity to the Smoky Park entrance--- just turned right-- rode a mile and you are there--- no traffic nightmares like further down the road.

I'm all in again for next year.

I agree that the Redroof Inn was a good location. Had to park the cage and trailer down the street, but it was nice to be in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Looking forward to another great week there.

You live in Nashville and you trailered your Spyder to this event? :dontknow:

I know, it's sad; but, I saw the forecast of rain all week, and was thankful for the trailer while following Janice back to Nashville Saturday in the storms, especially since my spyder was running like crap after the first update.

Ahhh--- now I know who you guys are-----

We rode through that rain on the way there--and back--- :yikes:

But once there--- the weather was GREAT.

I can't say I blame you. I rode in that monsoon on the way there and hit more on the way back. I was at the point of thinking that I was glad the company that made Seadoos also designed and made my Spyder. I can't imagine this year could be worse than that unless we get rain during the actual rally versus the travel to and from.

Don and I are in!! :2excited: Hopefully we will travel with Gene again!! roflmaoTOO much fun!! And maybe I'll have my own bike this year!!
:trike:
We were also planning on staying at the tudor inn...:gaah:..don't know what we'll do then. I don't think we could handle the crazies at the:banghead: Red Roof Inn!!:chill:

Love those nightly chats!

Don't forget.....wear your helmet!

Now who would be dumb enough not to?????

Would be great if you can come this year with your own ride!

How's it running now???

The red roof was really cheap-- like $49 a nite. And you got free food in the morning as long as you could figure out the waffle machine!

Worked fine for the week for me!
