• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

02 Sensor blew out exhaust pipe - what would be the likely root cause?

What should I look for as the root cause of this issue. I was kinda close to going kaboom due to it shutting down in the HOV lane. Burnt up a good portion of wire harness, plastic parts, body panels..

Sounds like your cat may be getting hotter than it should. What blew out? The welded plug, the sensor at the threads, or just the sensor with welded plug and threads still in tact?

I'd say Ron's on the right track here, but a bit outta left field, someone hadn't been messing you around and stuffed a potato (or a rag) down the exhaust, had they?? Or maybe whoever was spinning the wrench had just not tightened the sensor up properly after replacing the sensor last time?? Had/done any work recently??
