There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It is the normally - hot end of an old vehicle cigarette lighter.
Why is there no church key or push in oil can spout?
Why do the new vehicles not have ash trays? Where are you supposed to put your small change now?

It depends on how large the ash tray is.
Or is it really just one of those old press button 'fingerprint removers' that most cars used to have in &/or just above/near their ash trays??
You haven't really lived until you've dropped a hot one of those into your crutch (or down the front of your open neck shirt!) while travelling in amongst a bunch of traffic all doing 80 thru a series of sweepers on the freeway!

I remember when Dad had a Mercury Marquis Brougham with 5 ash trays and 4 lighters.
It had two ashtrays and 2 lighters on the dash, and an ashtray and lighter in each rear door, plus a center ashtray for the middle rear passenger.
