• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Facebook Picture... How did a picture of me that I never saw before get on Facebook? I never had a Facebook account and have never even been on Facebook. This picture is about 15 or 20 years old, from when I used to ride with Southern Cruisers. Rode an old 2001 carbed Sporty with a Paughco springer. One of the people who rode with us was always taking pictures with an expensive camera. We were parked on the side of a gas station on Highway 17 down around Cross City, FL waiting on another club to hook up with us to ride to an oyster bar way back in the swamp around the Big Bend area. After I saw the picture, I remember him taking it. He was behind me and called my name. When I turned and looked, he took a picture. He had done some stuff to the picture to make it look real old and put it in a photography contest. Some young kid lifted the picture from the photography contest. The kid used his own name and my picture to open a Facebook account claiming he was riding with a patch club. Somebody in another state who knew me saw the picture on Facebook and sent me a copy. I guess the kid was real popular on Facebook until they found out he was a total fake. Probably didn't even have a motorcycle.

Grandpa used to tell us that he had to walk two miles back and forth to school every day, in the snow, and it was uphill both ways.

I didn't really believe him either, because he lived in Tampa, Florida and it never snows there.
