I have an issue, a BIG Issue with the 2025 Spyder's. I am only 5'2" and have an inseam of 27". I sat on a 2025 Sea to Sky at a dealer yesterday and I couldn't even reach the brake pedal. Whose idea was that one? Good Grief! I have a 2015 RT Limited and have NO issues with the brake pedal. What was BRP Thinking? What are others like me doing about this issue? Are they losing sales or people wanting to trade up by this big overlook? Very disappointed. I don't want an F3 - but at least with that one, the brake pedal is adjustable.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Do other Short people have an issue reaching the 2025 RT Sea to Sky brake pedal?! What are others like me doing?

That has been an issue for short people since 2020. It can be fixed, Lamonster has a floorboard riser that will adjust the floorboard up about 2" than adjust brake pedal if needed. The Sea to Sky is a nice Spyder.

Yes, it is aftermarket, but if the dealer is not willing to put on one that cost about $100 in order to make a sale, he does not want to sell one very bad.

I have a 2020 RT-L, which ought to be fairly similar, and I"m 5-5. I've added a brake pedal riser (absolutely essential) as well as floorboard risers. I also changed out the handlebars and eventually went with Helibars to put hands where I want them to be (Be careful to get the right Helibars!) In addition, my backrest pushes me forward a bit as well.

I don’t know that the F3 “rod change” works on the ‘20+ RT, Gwolf... the pedal is connected differently.

I posted the aftermarket rod parts up there. They are are for 2020+ Can Am RT. It is not the same rods on the pre 2020, but the rods are available. I left a picture and link on a post about 3 or 4 back.

I have short legs as well. When I bought my Spyder I had the same issue. A shorter OEM brake linkage for $25 fixed me right up. The dealership wouldn't toss the part in for free and I had to pay for it, they ordered the part and installed it for free but then 'forgot' to adjust the left side, duh!
I then had to ask for the original linkage rod back, they wanted to keep it even after making me pay for the new part. No way! Can I use this part? No, but it's mine and I wanted it back and I have it.
Did you get to see the new brake linkage?
They probably just shortened the OEM linkage that was on your Spyder!

Just by way of “confusion reduction” for those newbies with ‘20+ RT, Albec is referring to an F3, not the ‘20+ RT mentioned by the OP. There is no need for any left side adjustment on the ‘20+ RT.
On the F3, if you move the right side pegs/floorboards forward or back from the stock “position 3”, you need to buy a shorter or longer brake linkage to keep your brake pedal at the same height.

Yes, I got to see the new linkage. As I said, it was installed when I picked up the Spyder. It was right there, installed where it should be.

There's no need to adjust the left side on the 20+ RT? If the right side is adjusted, either forward or back, won't the left side be either shorter or longer if no adjustment is made to this side?
Changing my brake linkage did not adjust the height of the brake pedal, just the distance of the pedal to the rider's foot to compensate for longer/shorter legs.

That is truth... I had to buy another brake rod to move the brake forward. The one that was on the scooter when I bought it new is still hanging on a nail in my shop. Eventually, it may be needed - if I sell that Can Am, or if somebody needs one to adjust an older Can Am they bought or inherited.

I was talking about my F3, but I now realize that the RT has floorboards that would not need adjustment like the F3 needs.
