Can anyone recommend a system other than fobo?thanks
I did notice that the low pressure was down to 29 I think psi. If you are running car tires, you would need it to go down to around 18 psi. Nice looking product! On my Beemer I've had the 2-wheel version of this installed for 5 years. It has worked very well for me. I've ridden in heat, cold, rain, shine.

Yes, this unit has programmable alarms for high temperature, high pressure, and low pressure. The DEFAULT low pressure alarm is 27 PSI, but you can change it.I did notice that the low pressure was down to 29 I think psi. If you are running car tires, you would need it to go down to around 18 psi.
Good to know, it didn't say that you could change that setting from what I was reading!Yes, this unit has programmable alarms for high temperature, high pressure, and low pressure. The DEFAULT low pressure alarm is 27 PSI, but you can change it.
If I end up installing one of these on my Spyder, I'll also install these T valve stems that I put on my Beemer:

Put the sensor on the straight-out end, and adjust pressure using the side.
I see these are not recommended for rubber tire stems. On my Beemer I've had the 2-wheel version of this installed for 5 years. It has worked very well for me. I've ridden in heat, cold, rain, shine.

None of the external units are recommended for rubber stems, however it is due to stem failure on older stems. Some people never change their valve stems, so it is a liability for the manufacturer. They also offer a system with internal sensors.I see these are not recommended for rubber tire stems.
I use this unit on my Wife's Spyder and Have been using the 2 wheeled version on my Husky for about 6 years without any issues! On my Beemer I've had the 2-wheel version of this installed for 5 years. It has worked very well for me. I've ridden in heat, cold, rain, shine.

What’s wrong with FOBO2 ? I use it on the Spyder and Trailer…From what I'm seeing, I'll be monitoring tire pressure the old fashion way. Thanks for all the replies.
That's been my issue with them, but after you struggle to get them working like they should, they're a sweet addition to the spyder. Getting the app to work correctly (or easily) is a definite PIA! I texted them and told them about it. But no sympathy at all, oh well.I can't get the app to function correctly and I have already returned them.
