Lol! It's not that bad, heated gloves, liners, and socks under ski pants and leather. When I back out the garage, I'm warmer than in my truck 'til it heats up!
We took advantage of the abnormally warm day and went for a ride over to our favorite local wing joint. When we got home, I performed an oil change for the first time since the break-in change that was done by the dealership.
I'll parrot the comments made regarding the oil change kit supplied by Lamonster which included their drain plugs, I'm very pleased with the quality. I'll get the K&N air filter done tomorrow.
We've got a couple more light kits to install, so the Spyder will stay in my parking place for a few more days.
Wow! How fun. Your gonna Ike it.Yesterday I finally broke 200 miles on my new RTL (it has been really wet and cold). For a guy coming off of 50 years of two wheel driving I am getting quite used to the realm of three wheels and look forward to many more miles in the saddle.
Today I installed the FOBO Bike 2 for Trikes. Really easy to set up and I really like knowing my tire pressure when riding.
Maybe that will help.Hey Das (and everyone else too!) rather than loading full sized pics like those that were shown in your post above (pics which some readers won't be able to see properly cos they're just too big for their screen!) until I fixed them, please use the Attach Files link below the text field when you're posting and then Insert (load) your pics as thumbnails, as outlined & shown in post #1,725 - here:
Please use the 'Attach Files' button below the text field to add links/pics, then 'Insert' and upload the pics/files as thumbnails rather than full-sized images.
That way, those who wish to see the full-sized image can click on the thumbnail to expand it, but if you load full-sized images directly into the post, or even if you just 'Attach' the files and don't bother to finish the job by inserting the thumbnail, some potential viewers WILL NOT be able to see it at all, especially those viewing on small screen...
Thanks.![]()
Good to see this still going.... wow, 5 yrs already. Me, I haven't been on the site in a long time. Just thinking about changing the air filters in our 21 RT's and maybe checking the coolant. Not much really needs to be done. I change our oil in the fall along with a few other minor little things.Just what it says really...I see this question/topic on a couple other forums I visit, and it's always interesting to see what people post. So, what did you do to your Spyder today? Any model, heck let's include Ryker too.....
What size Apache box did you use?Prepping my ride for a possible road trip to Green Country Jamboree. Put the IPS rack w/ top case back on, and today I fashioned a smaller rack in front of the IPS to carry my duffel bag. Made from aluminum angle and a $16 porcelain enamel grill topper. Once at my destination, I can pull four bolts and have both racks off in about 2 minutes.
