• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone seen/heard of Ryker handlebars to lower hand height?

Does anyone in the Ryker community seen or heard of handlebars for a 2021 Ryker Rally that lower the hand height when gripping the bars? I'm thinking about turning them upside down to see if that's do-able. I've looked at the Helibars & they just bring things 3 inches closer, not lower. I need to figure a way to keep the blood in my arm running downhill. Just a couple of inches would make the difference in my circulation issue. Yikes! Getting old sucks!

Hey there possum59, welcome to the forum! Upside down should be doable, but there may be a nubbin inside the switch housing you'll need to snip off, unless you want to drill a hole in the bar. Without the nubbin you may need to wrap a couple of rounds of tape on the bar to keep the switch housing from slipping. I've swapped out bars time and again on bikes over the years, got to take care of those hands. YouTube has several videos about Ryker handlebar swaps that might be worth a look, and you can check out some handlebar discussion on nightfalcon's thread, I think there's a picture or two:

Good luck, post back and let us know how it goes.

It's better than the alternative...
